2013 Collaboration with Johanna Berg. By deconstructing the ritual and emotional experience of a dinner we created a scene in which refined trivialities became the symbols of sentimental value. Objects often considered waste were reinterpreted into new ones and placed in a different context to examine whether it was possible to reconstruct the emotional associations or not. As a starting point, we staged and videotaped a dinner party that later became the aesthetic archive from which the objects were formed. The resulting props include a table that inherited the stains from a dirty tablecloth, a lamp that consist of inverted shapes from emptied dishes, and a set of six napkins with discarded paper tissues printed on them. The pieces were exhibited at Ateljé Under Uppbyggnad for as long as the previous dinner lasted, more precisely three hours and thirty-three minutes. During the whole exhibition, the film was projected on one of the walls, marking the start and the end of the exhibition.
